You can stop as much as possible from being in your public profile now...
but I don't know how it would take for search engines to pick up the changes.

The URL is above that starts the process.

Otherwise, by going to your
PHOTO upper right,
PRIVACY & SETTINGS you can stop
activity updates from going out as much as possible.

Since you have so few connections, a very small number of LinkedIn members would be able to see your profile anyway.

The easiest thing to do is restrict what people see when they view your public profile.

To adjust what people see when viewing your public profile open your "Edit Profile" webpage by going to the following:

    https://www.linkedin.com/profile/edit

Click on the "Edit" link appearing to the right of your current public profile link (www.linkedin.com/pub/ruth-walton/78/200/13a/), and then unchecking most all of the options for what people see when viewing your public profile.

Of course, when you are finished with your profile you will need to give your public profile the widest possible circulation and show virtually all that can be shown on a public profile.
