My photos meet all of these parameters, and still I'm unable to upload.

I'm having the same problem. JPG, PNG, all sized properly. I get the following message: "We were unable to upload your image at this time. Please try again later."

I am having the same problem. My shot is well within the specified requirements. From the post here, there doesn't seem to be a solution to this problem.

This i very ridiculous! Why is it that so many people are having the same issues? This needs to be addressed effective immediately! This is my first time using this thing and it has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

              Hi

I am suffering the same frustration - it should be this hard. I have followed all these instructions - photo 462 x 462, small file size (< 100kb), tried both JPG and PNG. Spent a good hour on this....appreciate any other suggestions - based on emails clearly a common problem - I am most surprised advice/guidelines are not displayed on page where you upload the photo - clearly the advice also is not addressing at least one issue we are all encountering.

              Appreciate any further advice

Your photo is probably not compliant with *all* of the requirements for a LinkedIn photo, which is causing the timeout. The requirements for a LinkedIn profile photo are as follows:

                1. You can upload JPG, GIF or PNG files.
                2. File size - 4MB maximum.
                3. Pixel size: 80 x 80 minimum and 500 x 500 maximum.

Your photo must meet all of the requirements. Having the dimensions square (e.g. 500x500) helps.

If you have no other way of sizing your photo, you should download IrfanView, which is a freeware image viewing and editing program (http://www.irfanview.com).

Mr. Caro the option of cropping your photo is available. Hence there really should be no problems where the size is concerned. I even attempted to take a photo so as to meet the requirements and it is still very unsuccessful. This is beyond frustrating and extremely irritating!

My photo meets the requirements and still will not upload. Do you have any additional advice?

If there were a compliance problem, then the generic "Oops!
There was some error while processing your request." message ought to be a lot more informative and tell you exactly what the problem is. Don't make us guess. As for compliance, my photo is 236 KB, 500 x 500 px, and a JPG with the proper extension. And there is no way it will upload. The LinkedIn site seems pretty unsophisticated...

I'm having the same problem and my photo meets all the requirements. It should not be this hard to upload a photo.
