from your home page:
hover over "Interests"
click "influencers"
click "all influencers"
hover over "most followed"
click "following"
click the green check-mark on an entry to remove an influencer.

I agree this is annoying. I never add any, but they seem to show up here anyway from time to time. Irrelevant stuff to boot.

What an incredibly complex way to show a relatively simple piece of information. I'd say it's almost worthy of Facebook given the level of obscurity.

BTW, it's now under the cryptically named "Pulse".

Thanks to John Tabler for figuring that out. What an incredibly bad design.

For those who already have their list created, I was having the same problem finding it. Mine was hidden in 'Interests' at the top, then scrolled to the title 'Pulse'. Hope that helps someone:)

I've noticed that I can get rid of everything except "pulse". After reading Pavel's post, I found how to pair even pulse down to the bare minimum.

"How do I follow or unfollow a channel or Influencer?
To follow and unfollow a channel, Influencer, or publisher from Pulse on your desktop:
Move your cursor over Interests at the top of your homepage and select Pulse.
Click Discover at the top of the page.
Under Recommended for you, you’ll see images representing different Influencers, channels, and publishers.
Click the green checkmark to stop following an item.
Click the blue plus sign to start following an item.

Since LinkedIn does not have the capacity to "archive" either discussion posts or activity updates, the best history available is 2-3 weeks. Perhaps the people you are following in the groups have not posted anything current.

It's not necessarily the archive I'm concerned with, just the ability to view who I am following -- i.e., Jack Welch, Deepak Chopra, etc. Is there anywhere I can go to see who I have "followed"?

Charles, LI *does* have the ability to archive discussion posts, but only in closed groups. My experiments have shown that in closed groups, every discussion ever posted remains visible on the scrolling list of discussions on the group's homepage (AKA Discussions Tab). This is not the case for open groups; they only list the last 2 months' worth of posted discussions.
