Hi, I want to thank everyone for your feedback on this important issue. I’m pleased to announce a block feature is now in place, and would encourage you to see this forum post for more details:

Add me in, i'm being stalked by this woman from a local job agency who I know of, I keep deleting her and she keeps reconnecting. VERY ANNOYING.
Thanks to all supporters of the blocking feature. Companies and organizations who care about safety enhance their viability and reduce their liability. Don't care about safety?--Try selling that notion to potential investors.

I agree. Self employed people can easily be "found" - I just had a creepster contact me via LinkedIn. Hey, LinkedIn - if you don't care about your users, perhaps you will care when you are hit with a law suit? Just sayin'

I don't know if the term "stalker" applies to my experiences, but "hacker" certainly does. I've had *a lot* of damaging experiences in recent months. Let's face it: Anyone with the technical know-how can crack through any site they choose. There's no privacy or safety on the Web. Zero; Zip; Nada. Period! We might as well get over it and know and accept that's *a* cost of being on-line.

Yes, This is horrible, I am being stalked and furthermore traumatized every time I open my Linked In page. It says so and so viewed your profile. I have tried and tried to make ALL my info available only private. I have tried blocking the person, there seems to be no feature, this is horrible. Also, the person above me who says there are no stalkers on Linked In is either completely insensitive and never been stalked by a criminal before OR is a stalker himself.

I get it Bernard don't put your pic up, don't talk to others, don't make new aquaintences and until its hurting you, your not understanding or empathetic to what our feelings are, suppose u have a gun, and are a fighter, military and can defend yourself, where we cant. please reconsider, Business is business but stalking is to hurt the person your stalking bad intentions. ok
