Yep, I agree! LinkedIn - please listen up and add this feature. It would be incredibly useful. The way that you can currently view your page's Followers is totally not on par with how great the other recent improvements have been! (e.g. we can only see a list of 10 at a time and they're not even chronological. Thanks LinkedIn

    Hi Christiane and welcome to the Forums! Unfortunately there is currently no way to export a Company Page's followers at this time. However, I will forward your feedback and suggestion on to the Company Pages team here at LinkedIn. In the meantime, stay tuned to our blog. When/if we release new products, etc. we will post it there first. Thanks!

      Hello Amber!
      Almost a year later, does the Company Pages team has anything to say in response to the wished for improved follower transparency?
      Best regards,
      Stellan

      Hello Amber!
      What is the status on this feature?

      I dare to say that this is the most crucial feature for LinkedIn to prioritise (and it's basic) to increase the possibility for companies to have good use of their LinkedIn company pages!

      Best regards, Anders

      Hello All,

      I was trying to do this today, and I came up with my own way of copying the followers list, but regrettably this is still not fully automated and will require a bit of user interaction and intelligence.

      It did work for me though and I thought this might help others as well.

      Please follow the below instructions:

      1. Open the list of followers from your Company LinkedIn homepage.

      2. The list only shows 10 per page, therefore go ahead and copy the followers, page by page.

      I know, if you have a very large list this my be quite tedious but in my case the list was reasonable.

      You need to make sure you copy the contents correctly, to do this; place your cursor at the end of "Followers" and drag downwards until all the records are fully selected.

      3. Once you copy the set of followers, then paste these on to a blank Excel sheet.

      Make sure you start pasting from cell A1.

      4. Once you paste the 1st set, go back to LinkedIn and go to the next page of followers. Repeat Step 2.

      5. Now go back to your excel sheet, press "Ctrl+End"; this will take you to the last field. Go down one more cell and paste the new set of records.

      6. Once you go through the whole list and finish pasting them all into Excel, you will need to run the following Macro:

      -------------------------------
      Sub Macro1()

      Range("A1").Select

      lastRow = LastRowIndex(ActiveSheet, 1)

      Do While ActiveCell.Row < lastRow

      ActiveCell.Select
      Selection.RowHeight = 49.5

      Selection.Offset(1, 0).Select
      Selection.Delete Shift:=xlUp
      Selection.Delete Shift:=xlUp

      Selection.Offset(3, 0).Select
      Selection.Insert Shift:=xlDown, CopyOrigin:=xlFormatFromLeftOrAbove

      Selection.Offset(1, 0).Select

      lastRow = LastRowIndex(ActiveSheet, 1)

      Loop

      ' AutoFit Column Width
      Cells.Select
      With Selection
      .VerticalAlignment = xlBottom
      .WrapText = False
      .Orientation = 0
      .AddIndent = False
      .IndentLevel = -1
      .ShrinkToFit = False
      .ReadingOrder = xlContext
      .MergeCells = False
      End With
      Selection.Columns.AutoFit

      ' Insert a column
      Columns("A:A").Select
      Selection.Insert Shift:=xlToRight, CopyOrigin:=xlFormatFromLeftOrAbove

      ' Insert record numbers
      Range("A1").Select
      i = 1
      Selection.Value = i
      Do While ActiveCell.Row < lastRow
      i = i + 1
      Selection.Offset(5, 0).Select
      Selection.Value = i
      Loop

      'clear last row
      Selection.ClearContents

      End Sub

      Function LastRowIndex(ByVal w As Worksheet, ByVal col As Variant) As Long
      Dim r As Range

      Set r = Application.Intersect(w.UsedRange, w.Columns(col))
      If Not r Is Nothing Then
      Set r = r.Cells(r.Cells.Count)

      If IsEmpty(r.Value) Then
      LastRowIndex = r.End(xlUp).Row
      Else
      LastRowIndex = r.Row
      End If
      End If
      End Function

      -----------------------------

      This shall format the list and number them accordingly.

      Note: Please bear in mind that this will not work if you are copying the wrong set of data. For example, if you copy "Connections" this method will fail.

        Your method looks interesting. What information can be extracted using your method? Will the end result allow me to break down my list of company follwers by follower demographics such as job title, age, company ext.?
        Engin Tujumet Jun 26 '13 at 10:08 PM
        The information is organized in the following format:

        - Picture
        - Name (Hyperlink)
        - Position @ Company
        - City, Country

        And this will stretch across a column. However, another quick script can re-organize this data into a row allowing you to use filters on the data.

        Age is not going to be one of the record fields though.

        However, I am not sure whether you really will need this type of scripting to achieve what you want. If you have the admin rights for the Company page, you can click on the "Insight" tab on the main page right under the company name and this will enable an option called "Tools" on the top ribbon, which will allow you to "View follower insights" and "Visitor insights".

        Regards,

        This is one of the features/functionalities that you really need to prioritise LinkedIn!

        Most global companies prioritising measurement and objective fulfillment of their online presence ask for this!

        Please answer and give response LinkedIn!

              Either give this feature or give an option to view followers chronologically..

                    I would like to export a list of attendees that have RSVP to an event for the group I manage. Apparently this is not possible.
